i realised that my socialising skills sux to the max lah!


i was sent to attend this course ytd.. okiz its not actually a course.. it was a forum.. its a 2-day event but my head went on the 1st day while me go for the 2nd day..


so ytd before leaving the hse.. i was so tempted to wear jeans lah coz since its just a forum with speakers just talk and talk.. but duno why-how-what i still wear pants.. -.-



despite the fact i left house at 910am since the forum starts at 930.. and even went back house again to change my pointed-shoes to heels coz i felt so uncomfortable and ate my sandwiches..i was early -.-



after registering.. i went on finding a good corner seat.. and at the same time lookingout for my colleague whos also attending.. i not really close to her and dun even have her hp no. lahz.. but you know god has been so good to me.. everytime when both of us on the same course.. it seems like god always made sure that we will bump into one and other so that we can sit together all that.. ^^



yeah.. so god is good this time again.. heez and u know what i really thank god that i did not come in jeans.. coz most of the people there were in their business suits.. and so do my colleague =/ m felt so out with my cardigan lah but at least i wearing pants -.-!



its quite an interesting forum.. and not long later it was tea break.. and the teabreak alone alr stunned me with various nice sandwiches.. prawn springroll and charsiew pastry.. so good right.. and the buffet catering lunch was so much better which equipped with beef mutton chicken salmon fried rice and asparagus and soup etc.. they even have a salad bar with fresh lettuce and all sorts of dressings.. accomplished withraw salmon and super fresh prawn salad!! hoosh! and not forgetting their dessert bar with all sorts of cakes pies and fruits and cocktails!


suddenly i felt so pampered ^^ so in the end i went 1round of main course 1round of salad with LOTSA prawns and 1round of dessert!! so full by the end.. but tats not all.. coz 1hr later we have 2nd round of tea break which consists of tiramisu cake and samosa!! -.- i can fully understand why my head said no need to eat dinner le..


okiz.. tink i getting out of point.. as i was toking about socialising.. yeah.. during these breaks and lunch.. i think its for us to socialising and "networking" with one another.. u see people walking up and introduce themselves from which banks etc.. den they start exchanging name cards all that.. which my colleague did.. a couple of them did walked up to me and made some small lil conversation but i guess i was abit withdrawn.. the conversations does not last more than 10mins =/



but i have my reasons being withdrawn! most of them were like in some high positions like managers in their company loz.. or they are in the operations side or from those high repute banks.. what am i? m just a small lil fry doing at the non-operation side lehz! theres nth for me to talk to them about.. =/



so most of the time.. i was standing at the corner during the tea breaks and lunch.. sighz.. i felt so loser at that point of time.. =/
